Yesterday began, bright and breezy, at 8 a.m. with me faciliating a T1ME Focus Day. The idea is a simple one, join the website by sharing your dream, and one of the services we offer is a fortnightly Focus Day – either 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. or 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. You turn up and together with the rest of the crew, we each tick off items on our To Do List, generally focussing on the nasty ones like clutter-clearing, filing, accounts and other chores, or Big Projects which need an expanse of 5 hours with a single [...]

May 2010 As A Social Entrepreneur: The Fourth Deliverable
On returning from France, our intentions for T1ME are now threefold: 1. To be a worldwide Tribe of 1,000,000 entrepreneurs providing a community of peers which supports and an academy of experts that accelerates you towards your Entrepreneurial Dream. 2. To be able to give back to the members every month 40-60% of their $10 sub in $10,000 cash prizes and other booty which will faciliate and speed the achievement of that dream. 3. To speak with the voice of that Tribe in our ezines, blogs, tweets and annual books, drawing to us the resources and recognition we feel is our due as [...]

April 2010 as A Social Entrepreneur: Following Universal Nudges
I still desperately want to launch the new T1ME website by Easter, but that deadline comes and goes without achieving that result. On 6th April I have a very useful consultation with Philip Stanley, the MinuteCoach, and he says I won’t find it difficult to harness people to my vision. He’s proved right over the ensuing couple of months. I draw up a document to send to people I want to attract to work with me. Initially my thoughts are that I want one of each of the 8 Wealth Profiles on the team of Head Office visionaries but I am soon [...]

March 2010 As A Social Entrepreneur – In Which I Learn Patience
In January, I was shocked and somewhat embarrassed that I could find £1500 a month to strip out of my budget, what with having spent five years as a Wealth Coach and all. Needs must; slash and burn. I miss the laundry most but almost nothing else. Shocking. In March things begin to look slightly jollier as my two-year fixed mortgage deal comes to an end and my mortgage drops from over £1200 pcm to somewhere in the £700 region. Woo Hoo! I finally embrace the garden office and move into it, re-naming it The Abundance Shed and so it is. Days [...]

What Do I Want? What Do I Really, Really Want?
One thing you discover when you are bereaved is that – unbelievably – the sun goes on rising and setting. And so it is in The Fertile Void. Sunrise. Sunset. Sunrise. Sunset. Day after day. I start to get back into TV courtesy of BBC iplayer. Not a good thing. Its all very relaxing and enjoyable but it sucks all the creativity out of me and actually I often end up resentful. And I even got sucked into stuff I love too – 24, Grey’s Anatomy, The Good Wife, Glee, QI, Jonathan Ross, Over the Rainbow and BGT. Thank Goodness [...]

Learning To Find Peace Within The Fertile Void
So The Void begins in November 2009, continues through December, January and most of February. During our monthly meeting of The Creation Experiment in November, I announced to the rather startled members of my own personal Woo Woo team that I knew in my heart of hearts that I wanted out of another project in which I was involved. I had no idea how that was going to happen at that date and I was rather surprised to hear those words come out of my own mouth. Others were not. But that project was very much alive at that point, [...]

On Becoming A Social Entrepreneur
It seems I am becoming a Social Entrepreneur. As the journey is becoming somewhat fascinating as it unfolds, I have decided to blog it so as to keep a record. Gentle Readers, you know me, I regularly make such pronouncements without much follow through. However, let’s see what develops. Travel with me, if you will? This story goes way back to Friday 30th November 2009, the night I had dinner with President Bill Clinton. There were just 900 of us in the room at the Hilton on Park Lane, but it felt glamorous and we were very close to him; [...]
