How Low Can You Go?

Two lessons I am reminded of every time I play or teach Rich Dad’s Cashflow 101 game are as follows: It is ALMOST impossible for a woman (or a man) to do it by herself (or himself). In 2016 it takes two to earn enough to run a household and maintain an even keel on your expenses sufficient to run a surplus which you can save and then invest to get you out of the rat race. Note: I said ALMOST. By which I mean it is much, much harder on your own. My own life experience bears this out […]

Maths and Me (and You!)

By some strange quirk of events, I am coaching someone right now via Facebook private messaging. It’s all to do with her tech and where she is in the world and how that affects her ability to VOIP (is that a verb yet?) into our group calls on Small Business Big Magic. What we are working on is her desire to make money in her life and business and doing that for the first time outside of a day job. And also to provide for herself in later life by making some investments now, or soonish at any rate. So […]

Opportunities

Yesterday was the last game in the 2014 series of Cashflow financial education days which take place here in Streatham Hill, South London, in my Abundance Shed. Once the clocks go back, I put the games on hold for the winter months until such time as it’s a joy to be back down in my garden office again in spring. I always learn something from these games as teacher, banker, coach and facilitator, and yesterday was no exception. I’ve been thinking and assimilating overnight about what I learned this time by observing the way players approach opportunities. The game teaches […]

Everyone’s A Winner

Friday’s Cashflow game has stayed with me over the weekend, and following on from yesterday’s post where I wrote up the winning strategies I saw each player demonstrate, here are my own. Start by picking an engaging dream/goal which really matters to you and compels you into taking action Know where you are now and where you are going and what you want Keep an eye on what’s due to you and always remember to ask for it Believe your own intent can influence “luck” and then prove yourself right by throwing/manifesting what you need Remember that even when you […]

Ways to Win

With each group of clients that rolls through here to play Cashflow 101, I learn new ways of “winning” at the game, and specifically at the game of life. Here are a few observations from this week’s game. High Energy is an alpha personality, she makes things happen, she’s a woman in a hurry, impatient to see early results, she stands up to roll the dice, draws opportunities to her with infectious energy and self-belief and determination, she’s bright and good fun and brings something with her for us all to enjoy. I’m a bit like High Energy so I know […]

What Clients Say About Learning Cashflow 101

I asked three clients to share their experience of learning Cashflow 101. In the morning, we play by the rules. In the afternoon, we throw the rule book out of the window. *** “Although I’ve been conscious for some time of the effect our intentions can have on our actions, it’s been a bit of a dormant hidden thought, one that I don’t bring out in the cold light of day, for fear it will disintegrate once under the scrutiny of ‘rational/logical/normal people – even though I am one of those people.  And because of this fear, I don’t actively […]

Cashflow Game: 31 Days of Abundance, Day Twenty Eight

I’ve just been down the garden shed to lay out the Cashflow game for today’s Financial Coaching day in which I teach the principles of money and abundance and much more besides, using the fabulous tool that is Rich Dad’s board game, Cashflow 101. An abundance of five lovely strangers are coming to play with me, men and women I’ve never met before in the flesh. I’ve met them in the 30 Day Challenge because they are the Lucky Winners who won their game today for taking early action and securing the first few tickets as they went on sale. […]

Financial Coaching: Thoughts and Fears about Money

I enjoyed a  long, hot and very rewarding financial coaching day on Friday playing Cashflow 101 with my clients from the Club 100 and a Lucky Winner from the 30DC, a pretty magical manifesting bunch as it turned out. Here’s what they reported after the day: “Dear Judith,  Just wanted to drop you a very quick message saying a HUGE THANK YOU! It was mind blowing, entertaining, very educational, sometimes emotional, highlighting very important details, fun (and I could go on and on and on, trying to collect all the feelings that I’m still holding in the imprints the day […]

Financial Coaching: Start A Business Part-Time

Recently I was delivering a day of financial coaching using Robert Kiyosaki’s Cashflow 101 game to a handful of self-employed clients. I highly recommend this if you are interested in improving your finances or the way you are with money. Robert Kiyosaki is the Author of the Rich Dad Poor Dad series of books and it was there that my journey to financial freedom began over ten years ago. In the game you get the chance to play with the sums of those financial opportunities you are considering in real life. You get to play with the maths and try […]
