Entrepreneurship Is Alive And Thriving In The Cotswolds

Today we went to Bourton-on-the-Water, the so-called Venice of The Cotswolds. We had driven through earlier in the week but today we parked and walked around. We are souvenir-proof, both of us living in London in relatively tiny homes, but we made an accidentally excellent lunch choice at The Rose Tree Restaurant where we both chose today’s special from the blackboard: line caught cod in beer batter with chips and peas, a deliciously cooked bargain at £7.95 including homemade tartare sauce.
