What I Did on My Holidays

Always the toughest day of the year for me, the first day back at work after the holidays. Because I’ve fallen out of the habit. I’ve just enjoyed 18 days of holiday and, honestly, where did they go? They passed in the blink of an eye. And I could use another 18 with ease. I could probably use an awful lot more than another 18 and I’d love the opportunity to find out. So, Here It Is, Merry Christmas, Everybody’s Having Fun

It’s Christmas Day. It’s sunny. I’ve had a nice lie-in, done some reading (desperately trying to finish the book club book before I allow myself some leisure reading) and the washing up. Christmas: The C Word

So today it begins. They tell me it’s alright to talk about Christmas from today, 1st December, or The C Word as it’s known chez moi. I might as well get this off my chest. I hate Christmas.
