Marketing: Why Bother Blogging at All?

Most of the people I know these days have a website. And most of them have a page on it called Blog. And almost all of them know they should be blogging. But are they? Not really, no. They pay various webby colleagues of mine to create beautiful websites for them which then lie fallow, dormant, unloved.
