A Handful of Happiness and Pride

A sunny Sunday and up early reading the Time Out film reviews to see if anything would tempt us to the movies. Yes! We would go and see Pride at the Brixton Ritzy, where we even managed to snaffle a couple of free tickets thanks to my best pal’s annual patronage of Picturehouse Cinemas and especially their new movie theatre, coming soon to East Dulwich. We were served by a delightful girl behind the counter who advised she had seen the film yesterday and she promised much laughter and tears. She said we would love it and she wasn’t wrong. […]

Health + Wealth + Mindset = Happiness

I’m doing a little clutter clearing today and found this thank you card from a lovely client and friend. I’m recording what she says here for all time and for the warm fuzzies and also keeping it anonymous because I haven’t asked her permission to share this private note. Dearest Judith, thank you for being my coach, mentor and friend. For many years now you’ve been a consistent positive and loving influence in my life, even when you’ve not been aware of it. Through you I have learned much about the mechanics and psychology of money and how to apply […]

Wild Money, Magnetising Money, Daily Om, Happiness and Lucky Prosperity

I am always on the lookout for nice resources about the more esoteric side of wealth creation so I can use them and test them myself and then share them with you – my readers, friends, followers and clients. Here are a couple I discovered recently. I hope you enjoy them. If these are too woo woo for you, keep reading. Something more “normal” is bound to come along shortly although normal is not our thang round here, I’ve gotta be honest with you. But down to earth does also get sprinkled into the mix most weeks. Love Letters to […]

Testimonial: “Deep Thanks For Renewing My Inspiration”

“What a beautiful blast of fresh, ground grass smelling sunny sky dreaming air you are! It is so refreshing to hear somebody appraise so eloquently the spiritual alongside the nuts and bolts aspects of actuating our dreams. I am sure I will not be alone in being touched so by your approach and the warmth of spirit that resonates with it. I see the true treasure of living in alignment to your passion, of following your dreams.  It’s so vital, so core to our happiness and that is what I can see you want to facilitate for people in Club […]

TFTD14: I Will Greet This Day With Love In My Heart

“I will greet this day with love in my heart. And how will I do this? Henceforth will I look on all things with love and be born again. I will love the sun for it warms my bones; yet I will love the rain for it cleanses my spirit. I will love the light for it shows me the way; yet I will love the darkness for it shows me the stars. I will welcome happiness as it enlarges my heart; yet I will endure sadness for it opens my soul. I will acknowledge rewards for they are my […]

TFTD11: Happiness Is A Journey, Not A Destination

“For a long time it seemed to me that life was about to begin – real life. But there was always some obstacle in the way, something to be gotten through first, some unfinished business, time still to be served, a debt to be paid. At last it dawned on me that these obstacles were my life. This perspective has helped me to see there is no way to happiness. Happiness is the way. So treasure every moment you have and remember that time waits for no one. Happiness is a journey, not a destination…” – Souza

The Land Of Smiles: Soul Days – Unplugged

I haven’t “worked” since 30th November 2010. I took a gap year in 2011 and then it extended a bit because I had no idea how I wanted – or even if I wanted – to return to the world of work again – ever. Recently I confided in those who would listen that if I ever again had to work for a living, I had absolutely no idea what I would do. And that was true only a couple of weeks ago. My definition of working for a living, by the way, is exchanging time for money. As an […]

Finding A Tenner: The Simple Things Make Us Happy

Quite a lot of jolly news in the paper today; course, it depends what you choose to notice, doesn’t it?   I loved this little story about why it really is the simple things that make us happy. Here’s the list compiled by the Daily Mail:         Finding a £10 note in an old pair of jeans Going on holiday Getting into bed with freshly washed sheets Swimming in the sea Waking up on a sunny day Sitting in the sun Being surprised with a gift or flowers Getting a nice message from a loved one Cuddles Receiving […]
