Having spent a month with lots of American snowbirds during December, I noticed their thrifty habits, no doubt designed to eek out their scant pensions and make them go further in the slightly cheaper, definitely warmer Caribbean. I keep meaning to look up the precise date I discovered the Money Gym. It was way back in 2003, I think. Although I had been an accountant since 1977, and already sold my accountancy business of 20 years, I hadn’t learned how to make myself rich focussing, as I had been, on helping other people with their money. I was just meditating this morning on what a lucky girl I am. I took August off as ever and although I intended to do lots of things online including blogging and Twittering and sending out a newsletter, I haven't done much of that in the end but I have done lots of other lovely things, extreme self-care, fun and all sorts. Forgive me if I share my abundance with you today on this our first day back "at school"!
