Personality Profiling: Nowhere To Hide

There’s been a lively debate over the weekend in my Money-Making Magic Google Group about personality profiling. A new member but a colleague of old asked about Wealth Dynamics which I use with all my clients and we went back on forth on that one which led to discussions about the Enneagram, MBTI and a funky new test, which is free to take, about your Spiritual Personality. In Wealth Dynamics I am a Creator. In MBTI I am an ENFJ. In the Enneagram I am a 7 (although that fluctuates) And in the Spiritual Personality test, the new one, I am […]

Young Entrepreneurs and Bold Achievers in North London

Last night I went up to Holloway at the invitation of Action Jackson to talk to his group of young people who are Bold Achievers, at their monthly Raise Your Game meeting. They are a Mastermind team, keeping each other accountable to their goals each month and the meeting starts with celebrating high points and acknowledging lows. Jackson and Junior have achieved a very nice family feel to the meetings. All are welcome and everyone is very polite, encouraging and supportive to each other. It was a joy to talk to these enthusiastic up-and-coming success stories in the making. They […]

Today Is A New Notebook Day. Callooh! Callay!

Is there anything more gorgeous than a new notebook? I have stashes of these about my person and my place. Little A6 ones for my handbag with glittery pink covers from the Fabulously British collection at TheArtFile.com. One of a pair of thin fine-lined moleskin ones, a bargain one I was unable to pass up – a post-Xmas reduction at M & S while grocery shopping and the last in a line of 3 personalised ones from GettingPersonal.co.uk, this one’s got love hearts on it with Judith on a pink heart. That’s the one I’m starting today for my worky-type notes throughout […]

Cheers! A Lovely Day Out In Champagne

This is the first App I’ve been involved with, even on the periphery, and we are pleased and proud to announce its launch. Do you like Champagne? I do!   And I’ve already been to the Champagne region twice. Once to Rheims without this App, and once to Verzy with the people who created the App. You cannot imagine the difference between the two visits and I know which one I will be taking in the future. Cheers! Apart from anything else, the Champagne we drank on our second trip was so much more enjoyable,  light, refreshing, organic and from […]

Why Group Work is Enjoyable and Profitable For All

I’m a person who loves to work at home, alone. I like going out, it’s always refreshing when I do but I prefer it at home, working, alone with my creative thoughts. But this thing I know. Human Beings are generally very sociable animals indeed and I am a rare bird. What most people like is playing nicely with others.   Bucketloads of us are working at home these days and most of us don’t like it like that. So what can we do about it? As business owners working in the soft skills area, we can offer groups to […]

Finding Your Niche In Who You Are And What You Love

In our Better Bloggers group, Yvonne posted something thought-provoking today about finding your target market. Yvonne’s niche is coaching Bed & Breakfast owners and she’s right in the centre of her authenticity because she owns and runs a successful B & B herself – in Champagne, in La Belle France. If you are struggling with your niche in your own business, here’s Yvonne’s recommended list of questions to ask yourself. Although I know my niche, it is morphing, so I am going to answer these questions below and see what I learn about myself in the process. Why don’t you join in and […]

Ho’oponopono: The Easiest Way for Wealth, Health, Peace and More

I wrote a post last week about not doing what we know to do. And I thought I’d write some more today about Ho’oponopono for those who may not be familiar with it at all.   Thanks to Wikipedia for this definition: Ho’oponopono (ho-o-pono-pono) is an ancient Hawaiian practice of reconciliation and forgiveness. Similar forgiveness practices were performed on islands throughout the South Pacific, including Samoa, Tahiti and New Zealand. Traditionally Ho’oponopono is practiced by healing priests or kahuna lapaʻau among family members of a person who is physically ill. Modern versions are performed within the family by a family elder, or by the […]

The Gift of Listening

When I sold my business in March 1997, I was persuaded by my aromatherapist and pal, Jane, that we should go to Skyros. So off we toddled in July. Have you ever been? Blimey what a schlep! You fly to Athens and stay overnight in a pretty basic hotel, then there’s an endless coach trip across the Greek mainland and finally a ferry to the island. It’s this grisly travel which makes the Greek islands so special when you get there because most people haven’t got the time or the true grit to undertake such a journey, especially when tired […]
