Ideal Clients for Business Coaching/Mentoring

When I owned my own accountancy business in 1977 to 1997, my ideal client was anyone who needed their accounts doing. Since I’ve been business coaching/mentoring since 2002, anyone who runs their own business and needs some help, advice and support has been ideal. Today I thought I might look more closely through my current client list and identify some qualities that my ideal clients share in spades. My ideal client is a woman who works for herself (or wants to), usually from home. Female-friendly men are also encouraged and are perfectly happy with the 80/20 bias; some don’t even notice. Gorgeous. […]

2015: My Year of Miracles – Miraculous Daily Reading

Having designated 2015 My Year of Miracles, I thought I’d update you with the miraculous daily reading resources I’m using to support me on this journey. All three of the books are connected to A Course in Miracles which means the God-averse might prefer to click away immediately. One day soon I shall stop apologising for that. I’m sharing recent excerpts from all four books so you can see how they interconnect. My first and most obvious choice was Marianne Williamson’s A Year of Miracles: Daily Devotions and Reflections. Here’s the entry for Day 73 which, according to my calculations, was […]

A Great Attitude and Serendipitous Opportunities

I was much taken by the words of Earl Nightingale on this meme as it fleeted past me on Facebook on Monday: “A great attitude does much more than turn on the lights in our worlds; it seems to magically connect us to all sorts of serendipitous opportunities that were somehow absent before the change.” Noticing and studying this message made me realise I had been putting my focus on all the wrong things. When it comes to my clients, my attitude is great and I encourage a great attitude in them too and I see them manifesting all sorts […]

2015 Miracles

Would you like to create some 2015 miracles? I am inspired to put together a special group to start on 1st January and work through Marianne Williamson’s A Year of Miracles: Daily Devotions and Reflections. Here’s how it works: Get your hands on a copy of the book or kindle ebook – fast! Be ready to start on Thursday 1st January ideally, although I think it would be possible to catch up in January but not beyond. You’d just have to double your efforts in the first few days so as to be on the same page as the rest […]

What You Want

See this image? Yup, I believe in this. Sort of. It’s Old Skool and it’s worked for me for decades. However, I have another version now which I teach my clients and it goes like this: Decide what you want. Get clear about what you want. Get out of the way so the Big U can do her part. No meddling in the cursed hows Do all that you can with all that you have from where you are Decide What You Want This is the bit we are agreed upon and when I read this sign, shared by Ellen […]

Why Are You Here?

Why are you here? Do you wish you knew for certain? Would you like to go (self) exploring? Earlier this month I received a deliciously assertive and confident email from a client which said “I’m on this planet to…” I won’t tell you what she said because that’s her business, but the point is this: she knows. She knows what she’s here for. And if I told you, you’d say it was deceptively simple and whilst it may sound that way, it’s profound and empowering to have certainty around why you are here. Many of my clients profess or pretend […]

Goals and Intentions

Goals and Intentions. Both are important, and fulfil a different function in creating your business/life to love. Goals. Write them down, make them happen. Every book you read about successful people contains the part where they work out what they want, even if it’s only on the back of an envelope or fag packet which they then frequently recommend you shove in a drawer and forget about. When you are moving house, you find it again and notice how most – if not all of it – has magically come true. How does that work then? Those of us who […]

How Does Magic Fit into Money-Making, Judith?

There are as many different ways to make money in your own small business as it’s possible to imagine. But, broad brush, here’s approximately how to do it. Have at least an outline plan and a vision of what you are wanting to create and make sure it is something which will engage you for the foreseeable future. Don’t keep changing your mind, stick with it. Don’t sabotage yourself by taking on multiple projects. However many beautiful ideas for different projects you have, pick the front runner and put all your available energy into that. If you are going to […]

Small Business Success Comes “Out of the Blue”

Most weeks clients tell me of successes which have come to them “out of the blue”. Mostly it doesn’t happen like that, it just seems like it. They are being accidentally modest. They have done something, whether they realise it or not. The things they’ve been doing to create these results fall broadly into these categories according to my monitoring of my clients’ activities and my own personal experience: 1. Cosmic ordering and manifesting like a good ‘un (allow +/- 48 hours) 2. Working really hard in a focused way (allow +/- 3 years) 3. Some combination of the above […]

Dare You Let Yourself Trust in Unlimited Flow?

Do you love to swim? I love the turquoise water, me. Because my parents lived in Malta in the Sixties when I was just a teeny tiny girl, I was always a little water baby from the get go. I love swimming and learned to trust the water at a very early age; in fact, I never remember not trusting it, it’s a fact in my life and it feels like I was born knowing that. No fear was instilled in me. Water is a medium in which I have infinite trust. I know that whilst I must respect the […]
