I Love My Life Too, Robbie

I am grateful to Rachel Elnaugh for much, and again today for drawing to my attention Robbie William’s latest song from his most recent album. You can tell it’s a Robbie song even before the lyrics start as the intro is reminiscent of Feel. I am by no means Robbie’s greatest fan, musically or in any other sense, though I am admiring of much of his output and certainly in awe of his songwriting abilities and his commercial talent and his gift for artistic collaboration with those who amplify his talent. Oh, and my Mum liked him, fancied him too […]

My Adventures during Mercury Retrograde

My favourite astrologer is Sally Kirkman, who just happens to be a client, and we are also two of three founder members of our monthly book club which will be four years old in April. Sally knows that I prefer to pretend that Mercury Retrograde doesn’t exist, so she will be laughing when she reads this and when she sees how her winged pal disrupted normal comms around here this week. When I was bragging to another client about how easy it is for my computer to auto-backup my valued contents to the cloud via Dropbox, I noticed that although […]

Do You Need To Be Woo Woo To Be A Client?

A new client joined Small Business Big Magic last week and “confessed” to being not very woo woo. Clearly my being woo woo hadn’t put her off because she was a returning client and, although it has been some years since we’ve worked together, she’s kept an eye on me all that time so she’ll know I’m even more woo woo these days, not less. She said: “I don’t know what is in the air, but having had a terrible week last week, this week everything has clicked into place for me, so a great start to my membership. I’m […]

2015: My Year of Miracles – Miraculous Daily Reading

Having designated 2015 My Year of Miracles, I thought I’d update you with the miraculous daily reading resources I’m using to support me on this journey. All three of the books are connected to A Course in Miracles which means the God-averse might prefer to click away immediately. One day soon I shall stop apologising for that. I’m sharing recent excerpts from all four books so you can see how they interconnect. My first and most obvious choice was Marianne Williamson’s A Year of Miracles: Daily Devotions and Reflections. Here’s the entry for Day 73 which, according to my calculations, was […]

Goals and Intentions

Goals and Intentions. Both are important, and fulfil a different function in creating your business/life to love. Goals. Write them down, make them happen. Every book you read about successful people contains the part where they work out what they want, even if it’s only on the back of an envelope or fag packet which they then frequently recommend you shove in a drawer and forget about. When you are moving house, you find it again and notice how most – if not all of it – has magically come true. How does that work then? Those of us who […]

Magic: 31 Days of Abundance, Day 15

Magic. That’s another thing I’ve got plenty of. I’d like even more of it. It’s why my strapline is Money-Making Magic for Enlightened Entrepreneurs. It’s the ethos I use when working with my clients and for those who get the magic, it really accelerates their progress. Some are naturals at it. We are at least mostly of one mind; perhaps kindred spirits is a better way to say that. We prefer intentions to goals, allowing to forcing, and we love all things magic and manifestation. We’re up for an experiment or two, to see how it goes. And, of course, […]

AbundanceFest: How to Get More Abundance into Your Life

Today I am very excited to let you know about AbundanceFest, my own personal JM summer festival minus the music and the mud! My clients in Club 100 are coming for their annual summer party on Saturday 9th August and my party planner, Lady Penelope, persuaded me to go for a marquee, just in case the Great British Weather lets us down, or maybe just to keep the sun off the freckly ones. She’s an Aussie you see, that might explain her encouragement towards tentage. Doesn’t she know about us Brits and our brave propensity for a rainy BBQ? Either way, […]

The Vibe: Little Miracles Get Bigger Every Day

I know some of my readers, family and friends think I’m as mad as a box of frogs with all my talk of woo woo but, like everything else I believe in my life, the more I practise it, the better my results. And the more it becomes my truth, the more I come to regard it as a reliable tool I can use to fix almost anything. Yesterday, yet more evidence showed up in my life and I love evidence because it encourages more believers. A woman I know quite well booked herself into my online diary during the […]

When It’s Right It’s Easy

When it’s right, it’s easy. We’ve firmly established this in my woo woo group. Over and over again we find ourselves exclaiming how easy it is when something goes right for us, when something we want just drops into our laps. But why do we lose faith in that concept in between? Why do we find it so difficult to remember that’s precisely how it works and to make that our modus operandi? One of my esoteric pals reminds me that our job is to turn our boat into the stream and let go of the oars, from Abraham-Hicks. “Allow […]

Money, Abundance And Prosperity

One of the recurring themes which comes up when I talk with clients, colleagues, other self-employed folks and friends is money. Or rather fear about lack of it i.e. scarcity.  I am sure this resonates with most readers. How do you keep yourself in an upbeat place about money when you know you’ve not got enough coming in, or you are worried about debt or cash flow struggles and impending difficult decisions about what bills to pay? When I go through a bout of this myself, here are some of the things I do which make a difference. I can’t […]
