In episode 105 of Own It! the Podcast, Nicola and I debate what to do when you don’t know what to do in our Client Challenge of the Week.
Nicola talks about creating a self-imposed deadline, the value of journaling, seeking out inspirational input including asking your guru(s) via social media, WWJD (what would Jesus do?) bracelets, mentors and being ready to ignore all their advice, getting into momentum and Big Magic. WWJD I pointed out also stands for What Would Judith Do and we got a great big LOL out of that!!
And I talk about doing nothing for a while, sitting with the feelings and honouring them, and noticing the tendency – nay urge – to fix things by doing.
And TUT’s strategy of doing all you can from where you are with what you have and how that might simply be what you consume by way of food, drink, reading matter and what the media tell us is true.
I remind listeners about James Altucher’s article How to Be the Luckiest Guy on the Planet and his 4-step process – physical, emotional, mental and spiritual.
And finally looking out for inspired actions which just sponatenously occur to you if you get quiet enough or know how to listing for divine nudges. Do them, however small or silly they might feel, even if you don’t know why (yet).
In other news, our words of the week are Change and Muse. We talk about writing and Nicola’s study with My Spirit Business, archetypes, the hero’s journey and Carl Jung. We compare the weather in Stoupa (stormy) with the weather in the UK (cold and rainy), we talk about Lee Child’s latest Jack Reacher novel and the joys of writing and how it gets easier the more I write – blog posts, newsletters, show notes, FB Notes, and NaNoWriMo. That’s why my word of the week is muse, as mine deigns to visit me normally after about four weeks of work on my part.
We have a mooch around ideas to do with our podcast, facts and figures, and the challenges of easily getting our podcast onto You Tube as explored last week.
And we are impressed by Casey Neistat, Andy Murray and Virago Women’s Press on BBC iPlayer.
We are on a mission to double our audience for Own It! the podcast. Will you help us? If you listen and love it, would you recommend it to a friend please? If every loyal listener did that, we’d achieve our goal. Thanks so much for your support; we especially love you for that. Everything we do, we do it for you and your listening pleasure.
If you enjoy audio, give us a listen. New episodes are published every Friday.
