Blogging Update: Tales Of The Better Bloggers

Do you remember my post of 30th January about the creation of a Better Bloggers group? Here’s what happened. In a rush to start with a group of twelve or so, a Delicious Dozen, Marion and I accepted the first twelve applicants which meant we had to turn away about twenty equally fabulous people. We did say we would run this group again and we shall, albeit in a different format based on what we’ve learned in the pilot and both Marion and I will circulate that news when we are ready to go. Four of these were coaches of one sort or another. I scanned down the list of coaches I know (only about 150!) and hand-picked the brightest who – bliss – I also count as friends.   Lucky, lucky me. And the fifth was an old friend from the Seventies, […]

A Very Productive 48 Hours

It just happens if you don’t force it – you find form.   I hit the ground running yesterday morning with a big pile of stuff which needed doing and I polished most of it off yesterday – I ordered some new clothes which arrived in the post today. I have tried them all on, kept the ones I liked and already returned the ones I didn’t and ordered some more. Mail order is a bit hit and miss but a boon. I’ve done the filing, ordinary and financial. I am up to date with The Archers. I have placed adverts […]
