I’ve been talking for sometime about a couple of joint ventures I’ve been co-crafting, and finally I am able to go live and announce that I am happy to be working in a project called The MORE Mastermind with its creator, Victoria Casebourne. Victoria and I met via a Facebook group. She’s a mum with two small children and she was already pretty much sold on the idea of working school hours in term time only. And I’ve been saying for sometime that I wanted to work fewer hours too, why should it be only mums who get that? She […]
I was invited to be the special guest on a webinar about Abundance and Flow. We asked attendees to send in their questions about practical money issues in advance, along with their questions about mindset. The money ones we whizzed through but the mindset ones were more challenging. I set the tone by warning I might be dispensing some Tough Love. Here’s the sort of thing we were looking at: I have a block about spending money on things just for pleasure. Not objects, but experiences. How do I change that? What do I do with my belief that money […]
I’ve got dodgy knees and recently I have been affirming “I AM flexible” as a spiritual way of oiling them up a tad. But today I am thinking of flexibility in a whole new light. Recently I was chatting with some of my favourite entrepreneurs about matters of mutual interest. They were telling me stories about what had turned up in their respective businesses – opportunities in the main. Yowser! I love to hear about new opportunities, especially during a recession. Whatever market conditions pertain, there is always something for the died-in-the-wool entrepreneur to get her teeth into. One had been […]
I’m doing a little clutter clearing today and found this thank you card from a lovely client and friend. I’m recording what she says here for all time and for the warm fuzzies and also keeping it anonymous because I haven’t asked her permission to share this private note. Dearest Judith, thank you for being my coach, mentor and friend. For many years now you’ve been a consistent positive and loving influence in my life, even when you’ve not been aware of it. Through you I have learned much about the mechanics and psychology of money and how to apply […]
Today, as is my wont, I am launching a new business idea. Its the T1ME Business Circle for Women. The gestation period for this idea has been long – and short – in that it has only been coming together for a month or so, but it has always been there too, if you know what I mean? I want to create a really powerful Brit-centric business group for women and I am looking for 250 founder members with £1,000 each between now and 28th February 2014. Is that you? If you are a woman in business and you are […]
There is a saying in Baja “No Bad Days” and I have the bumper sticker to prove it. My first rather obvious reading of this saying was all about the weather, 350 days of sunshine a year, leaving only 15 slightly duff days with perhaps a bit of much-needed rain. My second – and favourite – is that whether or not you have a bad day is largely a matter of choice. Do I elect to let the grim journey home from a lovely trip, with all its horrific connections, mechanical failures, anger, despair, relief, tears and lost luggage, part me from […]
Can your partner unknowingly (or knowingly) be sabotaging your ability to attract abundance? Yes, but only to the extent that you permit that to happen. Start with awareness. Notice what your partner says and how it affects you, how it makes you feel. Just because they believe X and give importance to that, doesn’t mean you have to. Start by separating finances into joint and several (ours/yours/mine) and do with yours something which improves your own circumstances and relationship with money and attracting abundance. Ask your partner to stop doing whatever it is that is negatively affecting or sabotaging you. […]
Each day is a gift, and as long as my eyes open, I'll focus on the new day and all the happy memories I've stored away. Just for this time in my life. Old age is like a bank account. You withdraw from what you've put in. So, my advice to you would be to deposit a lot of happiness in the bank account of memories!
