Coming hot on the heels of my foodie post yesterday, today I was struck down with food poisoning. No blame is attributed; I suspect that as a long-term juicer, an over-enthusiastic return to “normal” eating has felled me and just as well. That means I won’t now have enough healthy days here to do any long-term damage to the healthier choices I’ve got used to making.
Today we visited the laundrette in Moreton-in-Marsh, see poorly with food poisoning and draw your own conclusions, and took a squint at Broadway. Both tiny towns are lovely but I wasn’t well enough to enjoy them except from the car. And there are other holiday-fun-lessening aspects to the lurgy too. I feel like ****. Good job I told my clients in the Club 100 that I wouldn’t see them today for our usual Monday morning Facebook accountability session, I wasn’t well enough to remember between 10 and 12 this morning even that it was Monday but its been lovely to hear from them in our Google Group instead. Very cheering, thanks Team.
I found some Dioralyte and a couple of useful websites which explain that a combination of carrot and celery juice will sort me out, as will lemon squeezed into a glass of water, yoghurt, ginger tea and an over-ripe banana. Have started with the aged banana and the lemon juice and that’s probably enough for tonight but I’m feeling better already; I credit the Dioralyte with that.
